We are a stud based in Southern Ireland that specialises in breeding and showing American miniature horses, All of our breeding stock are direct imports from the USA with the finest of American blood with some of histories greatest. Our aim is to breed the perfect HORSE in miniature .Our stallions are consistent and never let us down each foaling season. All stallions are proven in both the show ring and breeding pasture .They are all AMHA registered whilst many are dual registered AMHA/AMHR .Little Kings Buck On Broadway and Willow Creek Dancers Perfecta have contributed Majorly to our breeding program. If you have a love of horses, there is no other breed of horse to compare to these intelligent, witty, willing animals. After devoting many years of promoting,breeding and showing the miniature horse,we could not have chosen a better animal to spend it with. We love showing miniature horses in Ireland and have had reached immense lengths with our horses and our home bred horses. i am thrilled with the horses i am producing and the route the breeding programme is heading but i am not beyond adding new blood. Our horses have come from all over America IE Minnesota, Dallas, North Carolina and Kentucky.

The beginning of my love for the Miniature Horse
Over 15 years ago is where my love for tiny horses began, Initially it was only ever my intention to have 2 as pets but little did i know that these 2 little horses would be the beginning of a long passion for Miniature Horses. As any horse lover will tell you one or two horses is simply not enough. Silversmith is now home to over 20 miniature horses, some are home bred and others are horses that have been imported direct from the USA. We have carefully selected horses from the finest bloodlines, which possess correct conformation, refinement, attitude,athleticism and quality in an array of beautiful colors specialising in the much sought after silver black gene . Some horses have already been world and national champions in the USA prior to import, and others have admirable show records in the UK and Ireland. All of our breeding stock are proven in the show ring before being retired to breed. We have had exceptional foals proving that importing only the finest stock and selective breeding is paying off. Silversmith only breed a couple of foals every year, i believe " Less is more" , striving for quality not quantity and do not believe flooding the market will ensure the future popularity of the miniature horse. Showing these willing, witty little horses is a pastime of mine in which i have a real passion. i have had fantastic results over the years in the show ring with both my own horses and horses that belong to clients being very consistent every year. i hope you enjoy surfing through my website and please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or enquiries.
